All of us traveling on Longwood Drive have
had the opportunity to smile and wave at
one of Blackmoor's friendliest residents.
Nary a car passes this gentleman without
receiving a friendly wave. Sometimes he is
just casually walking along or perhaps he
has his dog in tow, but you always receive
the friendly gesture of a wave. In case you
have never met him, his name is Lawrence
Jones and he resides in Somersby. If you
have the opportunity to speak with him you
will find that he is genuine and one of the
nicest, friendliest residents of Blackmoor.

(1) Any transplanted Massachusetts folks now residing in Blackmoor? If you
haven't heard yet, there is a MA group- the South Carolina BayStaters and they are
always seeking new members.
This is a social group that gets together 4-6 times a year for food, conversation
and friendship. If you'd like more info, you can take a look at their website -

togethers, as well as find a contact person if you'd like more information.
According to the website, they formed their club in 2006 with 40 members and now
boast over 160 people!
